Designed for the grand Rose Main Reading Room at the New York Public Library with the famous architecture Beaux-Arts Carrére company and Havant (who also designed and built the library), this lamp provides scholarships and researchers with the clean, bright, focused light. The lamp has a layer of white in the shadow of the brass to reflect the efficient and reading materials directly to light, table, or tabletop. Place-60 watt bulbs (not included) to provide sufficient light, while the shade to prevent glare from direct readers who shines in the eyes.
