
the house designed by Melbourne designer Michael Morris and Christine Berry, as his home: the couple had to struggle with government control because of a historic house that sits right next door, with the small size of land and an ancient pepper tree that can not be destroyed.
The two professionals are able to meet all the constraints, and now the three-story house sits under the lush foliage of the tree sculpture, almost without being seen from the road. And the wall that hides the rainwater tanks for irrigation of the vertical garden, serves as a fine display of plants and flowers.
The interior is elegant and sober, and are home to several pieces of design in the kitchen, along with hanging wood from sustainable forests, a wardrobe of red Abet laminates gives character to the environment, while the major brands of appliances (such as Franke, Elite, honey) emphasize functionality. In the lounge, which is accessed via a lift, sofas and armchairs Maralunga Cassina, ottoman coffee table with B & B Italy, dining table back to Italy B & B chairs and Zanotta. The mobile TV on the wall with a fireplace and Eco Smart.
The ground floor has been organized a special exhibition gallery, while the wine cellar can accommodate up to 2,500 bottles, the hall provide a strong emotional impact the five hanging lamps designed by Frank Gehry. In the bedroom, bed and bedside tables were designed by Australian Gordon Johnston.
