The Spanish designers of Estudio Arquitectura Campo Baeza actualized this Day Care Center in Ponzano in the North of Italy. The nursery was constructed as a joint venture among BENETTON and the local agency to supply much needed immediately years knowing for a quickly arising popluation. Up to 100 toddlers and infants, the children of occupants of Ponzano and those of BENETTON employees, will assist the school.
Here is what the designers extend:
“We constructed a square box composed of nine littler squares. The centre square appears to add light from the heights of the vestibule. The classrooms are organized in the encircling squares.
This square construction is written inside a wider, circular enclosure built of double rounded walls. Open to the sky, four courtyards are made that recommend the four components: air, land, burn and water.”
“The space among the perimeter walls assists as a “secret” locate for the kids. The courtyard spaces, tensed among the crooked and the direct walls, are especially extraordinary.
The center space, the greatest and with light from above, calls back a hamman in the method it assembles sunshine through nine perforations in the ceiling and three more on every of its four frontages. The kids have implied the construction well, and a book has even been released of their imprints. They’re happy there.”
